I am always inspired by nature and for this piece I wanted to emulate the beauty of chicken of the woods mushrooms growing on a tree. The fabric is a cotton twill, embroidered and decorated with cotton twill tape and cotton cording in the hips. I hand-painted the mushroom design with natural dye I made with avocado pits and skins.
